Requirements

1- 5 years of SQL Database Design / Development (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgresQL, MySQL, or equivalent)
Python – Intermediate to proficient experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must work at our Thomasville, NC location – this is not a remote position, so please don’t apply if that is what you are seeking
Must be able to travel up to 10%
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Can work independently but is a team player
A strong work ethic and person of integrity
Detail-oriented, organized, and highly self-managed
A multitasker, able to work on a few projects simultaneously

Nice To Haves

Comparable experience to SQL Server bullets listed is acceptable.
1-5 years SQL Server database design and development (heavily weighted experience)
1-5 years Ignition by Inductive Automation (heavily weighted experience)
SQL Server installation & configuration in production environments using best practices
SQL Server Reporting Services report development
SQL Server assessments, health checks, performance analyses and security audits
Database backup and maintenance configuration
Database migrations and/or database server consolidations
Database and data archiving
Performance tuning databases and long-running queries
Availability Group & failover cluster configuration
Stored procedure development
Advanced SQL syntax
Extract, Transform, and Load development using SSIS
Right-sizing VM for SQL Server
Using VMware: Player, Workstation
Programming languages: Visual Basic, Python
User interface development using SCADA applications such as FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Citect SCADA, Crimson Red Lion, iFIX, and others. (heavily weighted experience)
