About The Position

Basic FunctionHF Sinclair Midstream is seeking a SCADA Engineer. This position is open to Artesia, NM, Dallas, TX, Tulsa, OK, Salt Lake City, UT, and Casper, WY. The SCADA Engineer leads SCADA initiatives, focusing on standardization, system improvements, and collaboration with other SCADA teams to ensure seamless operations and project success.Job Duties Leads PLC programming initiatives, including the development of reusable templates and libraries. Standardizes SCADA system configurations and programming practices. Manages improvement projects to enhance system efficiency and reliability. Partners with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize SCADA solutions. Mentors junior team members and provide technical expertise. Ensures compliance with industry standards and cybersecurity protocols. Develops and implements advanced monitoring and diagnostic tools for SCADA systems. Leads troubleshooting efforts for complex SCADA and PLC issues. May mentor less experiences staff members. Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of job related experience is required.
  • A minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applications systems and ability to apply this knowledge.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of information systems concepts/design/development, systems development life cycle, recovery techniques, performance monitoring and tuning; decision-making, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Conceptual and data analysis skills, advanced reading skills, the ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations, intermediate reading and writing skills, and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to lead to lead projects as required.
