About The Position

The SCADA Engineer will be a key member of the electrical team, responsible for PLC/SCADA system programming and integration, as well as instrumentation and controls engineering design for various projects, particularly in the water and wastewater treatment sector. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and offers a hybrid work environment with flexible scheduling options.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Controls Engineering.
  • Significant experience in SCADA/PLC programming and Instrumentation & Controls (I&C).
  • Experience ideally within the water and wastewater treatment sector.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Expertise in instrumentation and control systems specific to water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PLC programming and SCADA system integration for water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Design and specify SCADA system components, instrumentation, and networks.
  • Conduct facility startup, integration, troubleshooting, and testing of SCADA systems.
  • Coordinate with electrical and process engineers throughout project phases.
  • Perform periodic construction observation and work with contractors and clients during project construction and commissioning.
