About The Position
As a SCADA Design Engineer at ENTRUST Solutions Group, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing SCADA and control systems for various electrical power facilities, including substations, power plants, wind farms, and solar plants. Your responsibilities will encompass the development of comprehensive SCADA design packages, which include SCADA panel elevation drawings, equipment bills of materials, schematics, wiring diagrams, data mapping, and points lists. You will also be involved in the factory and/or onsite testing and commissioning of SCADA systems, ensuring that all systems function as intended. In this position, you will troubleshoot and resolve communication issues, program all devices, and conduct end-to-end functional testing of all points to local devices, HMI, control room, and other data off-taker facilities. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of SCADA systems and their integration into electrical power facilities. You will be expected to travel up to 20% for local and domestic projects as needed, which will provide you with the opportunity to engage directly with clients and project teams across various locations.
