About The Position

Kinder Morgan CO2 Company is currently seeking a SCADA Controller with a hiring range from a level 1 to a level 5 dependent on experience and skill set for SACROC's GP178/176 facilities. The successful candidate will serve a vital role in maintaining the safe and efficient operation of the plant facilities. The GP178/176 facilities employ a multitude of processes which includes compressors, gas dehydration facilities, NGL Recovery facilities, and CO2 membranes. The Gas Processing Facilities are PSM Facilities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in oil and gas operations
• Background in gas processing
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Operation of plant compression and CO2 gas treating equipment to maintain designated operating conditions
• Surveillance of plant processes on PLC or SCADA
• Troubleshooting of process equipment and plant operations
• Shutdown and startup of plant equipment (pumps, cooling equipment, generators, etc.)
• Daily plant rounds and monitoring of equipment to identify operational problems not indicated through PLC or SCADA alarm systems
• Manually operate valves as operations dictate
• Lockout tagout and permitting duties for maintenance work
• Interact with contract personnel
• Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns
• Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork
• Provide oral and written communication of activities to appropriate personnel
• Write Maintenance Work Orders as needed
• Operate company vehicles during daily activities
