About The Position

SCA Clerk II Location: This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. We administer government contracts for Medicare and partner with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to transform federal health programs. The SCA Clerk II is responsible for performing routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures. How you will make an impact: Receives, classifies, reconciles, consolidates, and summarizes documents and information. Processes and codes documents. Sets up and maintains records, logs, and files. Compiles regular and special reports using established formats and procedures. Contacts customers, suppliers or other associates to exchange information. Operates, cleans, and maintains various types of equipment for purposes of maintaining claims, correspondence, and other related documents. Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail. Verifies unrecognized characters and flags quality issues as they arise. Completes and maintains production logs. Escalates issues to a higher level when needed.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School diploma and a minimum of one year related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Nice To Haves

  • Good customer service skills highly preferred.
  • Data entry experience and familiarity with basic PC office software strongly preferred.
