About The Position

The position involves partnering with the Supply Chain leadership team to ensure a visible and proactive physical security and safety presence throughout the assigned supply chain location, contributing to a safe environment at Lowe's. Responsibilities include supervising SC Security Officer expectations, managing security equipment, validating physical security, engaging with fleet drivers, conducting safety audits, and responding to incidents. The role requires regular patrols, de-escalation of situations, and collaboration with leadership to enforce policies. Additionally, the position involves reporting suspicious behavior, utilizing case management systems for incident reporting, and maintaining required certifications.

Requirements

  • High School or GED.
  • 5-7 Years Retail, security, first-responder, or military experience.
  • 1-2 Years Big-box retail, security, or military experience.
  • 1-2 Years Experience with detailed incident report-writing.
  • 1-2 Years Experience conducting quality reviews/audits.
  • Driver’s License.
  • Security License.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree with a study in Criminal Justice, Safety, or related security field preferred.
  • 1-2 Years Experience in using physical security systems (CCTV, EAS, etc.).
  • First-Aid Certification.
  • De-Escalation/Crisis Intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Supply Chain leadership team to provide a visible and proactive physical security and safety presence.
  • Supervise SC Security Officer expectations for assigned location.
  • Ensure all scheduled SC Security Officer posts are properly staffed.
  • Execute job functions to support the Asset & Protection & Safety Manager.
  • Validate physical security of the building throughout the day.
  • Engage with over-the-road and dedicated fleet drivers in compliance with CTPAT.
  • Validate regular safety and physical security audits conducted by SC Security Officer.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the interior and exterior premises.
  • De-escalate situations involving associates, visitors, and contractors.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, accidents, and emergencies.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership and associates to enforce policies.
  • Report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches.
  • Utilize case management system to complete detailed incident reports.
  • Utilize CCTV to monitor physical security.
  • Attend monthly Safety Team meetings.
  • Maintain all required certifications and licenses.
  • Participate in court hearings and maintain relationships with local Law Enforcement.
  • Maintain State Guard Licensing requirements for the Security Team.
