Mohave College's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is seeking an innovative Program Facilitator - Business Analyst to join our team for the DreamBuilder entrepreneur program! This exciting two-year, grant-funded position offers a unique opportunity for a transformative business professional who blends entrepreneurial coaching expertise with technical precision and strategic insight. The ideal candidate is adept in business analysis, excels in client relationship management (CRM), and brings efficient project management and effective instructional design and delivery to every initiative. As a purpose-driven leader and proactive self-starter, you'll guide local entrepreneurs through the business startup process focused on growth and sustainability-providing hands-on curriculum development and training delivery, one-on-one coach, insightful data analysis, and actionable solutions. Your work will directly strengthen our region's economy by helping entrepreneurs achieve measurable results through positive reinforcement and technical expertise. This role will be responsible for all aspects of the DreamBuilder program, including training, scheduling events, coaching and reporting. Requirements

  • Experience & Certification: Experience in instruction or training, curriculum development, and business coaching and advice. Preference given to individuals with business development, economic development and AZSBDC experience.
  • Instructional Style: Engaging with the ability to quickly learn and adapt, and explain business development concepts to new entrepreneurs that keeps them focused on success with positive reinforcement.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to expert computer skills including Microsoft 365 products, use of artificial intelligence tools, and proficiency in using the DreamBuilder portal and AZSBDC client management system.
  • Personal Qualities Resilient and purpose driven; must be a self-starter, able to work on your own and able to quickly learn new concepts.
  • Grant Compliance: Ability to abide by all grant requirements and AZSBDC and Mohave College policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Program Confirmation: Confirm the 1-day training date, location, and time.
  • Cohort Quota: Responsible for training a minimum of 9 cohorts up through December 31, 2027, working to secure up to 10 trainees per training session 44to achieve the required 10 trainees per cohort.
  • Promotions and Marketing: Use SBDC Canva Pro account to create social media content and physical flyers to secure training attendees; content must adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Logistics & Setup: Use up to 10 laptops by training attendees with content pre-loaded relevant to the training.
  • Work with the SBDC Director to buy and schedule lunch and refreshments throughout the training.
  • Instruction: On the day of training, lead trainees and the proctor through the DreamBuilder portal content and training curriculum content.
  • Graduation: Schedule and hold the graduation celebration.
  • Recruitment & Registration: Promote training to secure registered attendees and confirm them in the CIC (Client Information Center)
  • Pre-Training Tasks: Create DreamBuilder credentials and ensure registered trainees complete prerequisites before training.
  • Communication: Appropriately set expectations before and after training.
  • Client Case Management/Coaching: Responsible for coaching at least 45 entrepreneurs in 2026 and 45 more entrepreneurs in 2027 for a total of at least 90 entrepreneur clients in 2 calendar years.
  • Work with trainees through one-on-one coaching on startup steps, assisting them to successfully start and fund their businesses.
  • Enter appointments and work notes in the client management system (CIC) for each DreamBuilder entrepreneur, following the CIC data entry requirements. Attach relevant materials to the client record.
  • Capture economic impact on: startup and again 6 to 12 months after startup for sales revenue, increases in jobs, and capital injection into business.
  • Client Case Management: If a trainee does not start a business, move the client in CIC from DreamBuilder to SBDC and reassign to the Director.
  • Non-Financial Reporting: Responsible for the non-financial reporting and interface with AZSBDC and Mohave College. This includes completing reporting and securing 2 success stories with support from the Director and AZSBDC.
