About The Position

The Pennsylvania State University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is in search of a Marketing and Events Intern to aid in the coordination and execution of marketing strategies and event initiatives. The role involves creating promotional materials for educational programs, workshops, and events, as well as contributing to the development, formatting, and dissemination of web and newsletter content. Additionally, the intern will be responsible for crafting digital marketing assets for various online platforms and managing social media content. Collaborating closely with the Marketing and Event Coordinator, the Marketing and Event Intern will play a key role in supporting the SBDC's educational programs and outreach endeavors. This paid position is for the 2025-2026 academic year and requires a commitment of 10 hours per week. The work will primarily take place at either the Innovation Park Tech Center or the Eric J. Barron Innovation Hub in downtown State College. However, flexible working arrangements in accordance with Penn State HR policies may be considered. Ideally, the selected intern would be available to begin training a few weeks prior to the start of the fall 2025 semester, but we welcome all applications.
