All candidates are encouraged to apply and depending on prior experience the position could be an SBA Underwriter I, II, or III. The SBA Underwriter II is responsible for following all bank/department policies and procedures, as well as underwriting, documentation, processing and maintenance of lending products and loan files. The SBA Underwriter II will conduct in-depth credit analysis to provide sufficient information to make a recommendation of approval or denial of new loan requests that adhere to United Business Bank policy and procedures as well as SBA SOP guidelines. They are also responsible for assisting the SBA Underwriting Manager with additional assignments and/or projects as needed. The SBA Underwriter II will perform all duties accurately, timely, efficiently, and according to policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines, as well as the SBA SOP.
