Loan Operations SBA Closer is responsible for ensuring all SBA 7(a), 504, and Express loans originated in the bank are closed in accordance with the loan approval, the Bank's credit policy and the SBA SOP 50-10, Loan Processing. The loan closer collects and reviews all entity and collateral due diligence and coordinates the final closing and funding activities in the loan cycle. They are the point of contact and process driver throughout the loan origination process. It is their responsibility to ensure documentation is accurately prepared, properly executed, and filed with the proper authorities. Strong knowledge and understanding of the SBA SOP's is important for this role. Ongoing SBA training is required.
