California Bank and Trust is looking for an SBA Lending Support Manager to work in Huntington Beach, CA.

Requirements

  • Requires a college degree and 2+ years' experience in loan operations, credit analysis and SBA loan closing, or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements. Management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Requires considerable working knowledge of SBA lending operations, processing, documentation, credit analysis, loan processes and procedures including 504 loans, laws and regulations.
  • Requires working knowledge of related fields including banking, lending, and credit administration.
  • Strong analysis and problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing advanced support to the SBA Business Development team and affiliate by coordinating, documenting, and facilitating the successful closing of complex SBA loans.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank, SBA, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Resolves closing-related issues and escalations; and communicates with customers, internal partners, and external agencies to ensure clarity and timely completion.
  • Prepares final closing packages, supports process improvements, and may advise or train less experienced staff.
  • Assists bankers with new and existing credit requests, portfolio-level reporting, and other special projects as needed.
  • Helps identify issues early and support strong customer relationships and overall portfolio quality.
  • Other duties as assigned
