About The Position

EURO-COMPOSITES® Corporation is looking for a Saw Operator to join their team! Located in Culpeper, Virginia, EURO-COMPOSITES® Corporation is one of the global leading manufacturers of lightweight composite products based on honeycomb core. The product range consists of various types of honeycomb, panels, formed, milled parts and drop-in parts for a wide range of industries, especially for the aeronautical industry.

Requirements

• Lifting over 50lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good understanding of math
• Strong attention to accuracy and precision
• Knowledge of industry safety standards
• Previous fork truck certification and experience is a plus
• Open availability, including weekends
• Must agree to pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

• Follow production orders related to the cutting of honeycomb blocks into sheets
• Safely operate a forklift
• Complete paperwork and scanning operations thoroughly and correctly
• Select correct blocks for cutting
• Input correct data for saw computers and scanners
• Understand and apply math and standard measurements
• Operate horizontal band saws
• Comply with all quality requirements
• Control and complete documentation
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including emptying dust hogs and scrap material bins
• Visually inspect parts
