About The Position
Woodgrain in Independence, VA is looking for a Production Associate. The basic function is the handling, flipping, inspecting, and sorting lumber on a conveyor to determine the product finish meets quality or if it needs to be transferred to another processing machine to make the finished product ready to be graded and stacked. The position reports directly to our Sawmill Production Manager. Production experience is called upon for the safe, effective, and efficient operation of the plant.
