About The Position

Western Forest Products is hiring for Production Laborers at our operations in Vancouver, WA. This position is not just a job; it is a career opportunity with a focus on growth and development. The role involves starting in general labor positions and progressing into machine operator positions. Employees are expected to maintain a safe and clean work area and support other areas of operations as needed. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring employees to come prepared to work hard. Shifts are from 6:00am to 4:30pm, with a variety of 4 x 10 hour shifts available from Mondays to Saturdays, and occasional Sundays. Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment and random drug testing as well as background checks.

Requirements

• Labor experience is an asset but not required
• Steady work history with a good attendance record
• Positive attitude, ready to learn, and a safety mindset
• Physically fit and able to stand for 10+ hour shifts, perform repetitive tasks, and heavy lifting
• Basic math skills and ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and regular random drug tests
