About The Position
The Sawmill Outfeed Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift in the production areas of the plant. This position will need to stack lumber according to established quality standards and procedures, ensuring optimal arrangement and adherence to safety and operational guidelines. Wage DOE $23.92 - $28.15
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- GED or High School Diploma

- Prior industrial forklift experience
Responsibilities
- Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSAs
- Follow safety protocols and report hazards to ensure a safe work environment
- Conduct required pre-operating checks on the forklift before use
- Keep accurate records
- Fill out and follow the loading diagrams
- Set up dry and green lumber yard for efficient storage
- Replace defective pile bottoms
- Keep working areas clean
- Consistently keep a production-level work pace
- Other duties as assigned
