About The Position

The position involves assisting workers engaged in the fabrication of structural or sheet metal products. The role includes tasks such as lifting, positioning, and removing workpieces from machines to assist in fitting, loading, stacking, and transporting stock, tools, dies, and work-in-progress by hand or truck. The candidate will also be responsible for cutting material using a saw cutting machine, particularly focusing on cutting multiple dimensions of square tubing and possibly working on I-Beam cutting. Reading drawings and blueprints is essential, along with understanding and following safety procedures and guidelines. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience or saw operating experience.
• Able to work 10-12-hour rotational shifts as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with hand tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of experience working in a machine shop environment.
