You set up and operate an automated bandsaw, review work orders and blueprints, and make precise cuts to specifications. You measure and mark materials with accuracy, inspect each piece for squareness and surface quality, and make adjustments as needed to maintain top-notch results. Routine maintenance like blade changes, paperwork management, and workspace organization are part of your responsibilities, along with following strict safety protocols. Every action you take contributes to delivering quality products and supporting a team committed to excellence. WHEN YOU WILL WORK This is a full-time Saw Operator position that regularly requires long hours, after-hours, and weekend work. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Valid driver's license and a clean driving record High school diploma or equivalency Strong communication skills Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills Adaptable to changing conditions and operational demands Willingness to work nights, weekends, and extended hours Ability to build trust and promote a positive safety culture Ability to lift 75 lbs Ability to read measurements and perform basic math for measurements and tolerances Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work with a team Ability to work hard in physically demanding work Experience operating a forklift/skid steer is preferred WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO Ironworks Welding Inc. is a locally owned and operated company.
