About The Position

We are looking for a Saw Operator who will measure and cut slabs to customer specifications. On-the-job training will be provided for this position. Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs
• Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
• In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person
• English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
• Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines
• Able to learn our computer system
• Pass a written and practical forklift certification examination

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut slabs to customer specifications
• Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment
• Complete start-up equipment inspection
• Operate the saw via hand or computer program
• Replace and maintain the saw and its parts
• Ability to work collaboratively with other employees
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
