About The Position

Staffmark s hiring a Saw Operator in Alexandria, MN, where you will be working for a local company. The Saw Operator will be responsible for meeting DMC cutting standards, determining which cutting process should be used in each situation, using a variety of tools and machines, calculating the optimum material utilization for each bar and sheetrock, and cleaning, cutting, and deburring steel. This position will ensure that material is issued at the end of each shift, maintain the work area by 5S standards, report necessary maintenance and repair for equipment used in the sawing department, and cross-training in other areas.
