Requirements

• 6+ months of related experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate a specific or multiple types of saws to cut or trim wood to specified dimensions
• Perform cuts with precision by adjusting the cutting method, saw blades, as well as the speed and tension needed to provide consistent quality of all pallets
• Inspect and measure pallet components to verify the accuracy of the cuts
• Deliver on or exceed the daily production requirements
• Maintain equipment integrity by performing general upkeep to ensure proper operation
• Identify and understand types and grades of pallets
• Operate and maintain multiple forms of hand and power tools, saws, and equipment
• Maintain a clean workspace, reducing accidents, and ensuring compliance
• Escalate technical and process issues to leadership
• Foster exceptional and collaborative partnerships with facility staff
• Perform other duties as assigned
