Requirements

• Basic maintenance and/or mechanical skills.
• Ability to recognize unsafe conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to recognize hazards and make safe work decisions.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Saw File experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effectively work with the filing team to support saw filing operations and production operations.
• Perform basic maintenance and/or mechanical tasks.
• Inspect, sharpen, and assist in replacing saws and knives.
• Safely file and maintain band saws, circle saws, chipper knives, and saw guides.
• Perform machine alignment and maintain saw filing equipment and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues with knives, circle saws, band saws, and guide problems.
• Operate and understand precision measuring and grinding equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and adhere to safety and environmental guidelines.
