About The Position

As a Retail Store Associate at Savers / Value Village, you will create an awesome experience for our Customers, Donors, and other Team Members. We are hiring for both Full Time and Part Time positions. Our mission is to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature. We supply our stores with gently-used, one-of-a-kind items that have been donated by the community to local nonprofit organizations. You'll often hear us say that we are 'Thrift Proud.'

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Customer service experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends

Nice To Haves

• Experience in retail or customer service
• Knowledge of thrift store operations
• Interest in sustainability and community service

Responsibilities

• Create a positive shopping experience for customers
• Assist in sorting and organizing merchandise
• Engage with donors and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
• Participate in training and development programs
