About the position
As a Retail Store Associate, you will be part of one of the largest for-profit thrift operators in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Our mission is to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature. You will help supply our stores with gently-used, one-of-a-kind items that have been donated by the community to local nonprofit organizations. This role involves redirecting billions of pounds of used items away from landfills and onto our store racks and shelves for reuse, while providing our partners with valuable funding for their community-based programs and services. You will be part of a team that celebrates uniqueness and diversity, working in a purpose-driven company that values its impact on the planet and local communities.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in finding items and provide excellent customer service.
- Organize and maintain the sales floor and stockroom.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.
- Help with the sorting and pricing of donated items.
- Ensure the store is clean and well-organized.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.

- Previous retail experience is a plus.
