About The Position
The Grocery Retail Associate (Store Clerk) supports daily store operations and delivers a positive shopping experience for customers. This position is responsible for cashiering, stocking, cleaning, and assisting customers throughout the store. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail or grocery experience
- Cash handling or POS experience
- Tailors messaging to meet the needs of diverse customers and team members
- Takes initiative and completes work with speed and accuracy

- Bilingual in Spanish and English
Responsibilities
- Operate a cash register accurately while following all checkout and cash-handling procedures (cash, credit/debit, EBT, WIC, gift cards, coupons, and checks)
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service, addressing complaints and feedback effectively.
- Consistently report to scheduled shifts on time and prepared to work.
- Stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise in grocery, frozen, dairy, meat, and produce departments
- Assist with unloading delivery trucks and organizing product
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized store conditions including sales floor, restrooms, backroom, displays, and parking lot
- Retrieve shopping carts and maintain entrance areas
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Ensure proper product signage, pricing, and display standards
- Support other departments and complete additional duties as assigned
- Must Adhere to a uniform dress code
