The selected applicant will be joining the Death Valley Program as an on-site Ground Controller (GC) of a ground network. This is a shift-work position, and requires the ability to work any shift as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in operation of command and control (C2) ground systems related to satellite operations.
  • Must be an effective communicator with strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to support 24/7, 365 operations.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Experience on Mojave/Death Valley or related programs
  • Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting experience.
  • Ground station communications, configuration, operation, and/or fault isolation experience
  • Ability to gain SCI.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your strong problem solving, and communication skills focused on supporting 24/7 operations.
  • Interact with users, engineering support, crew and management personnel as needed.
  • Monitor crew logs for situational awareness.
  • Maintain crew logs for activities that happen on shift.
  • Contribute to procedural updates and procedure validation as needed.
