About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Satellite Solutions Account Manager. This role plays a pivotal part in driving strategic sales efforts that focus on satellite communications opportunities. The individual will lead initiatives to introduce advanced communications solutions within the non-terrestrial network ecosystem. By cultivating strong relationships with federal and commercial partners, the position aims to enhance the adoption of hybrid terrestrial-satellite communications technologies. A significant aspect of this role includes collaborating with a technical team to develop and execute targeted sales strategies while providing insights and competitive analysis to optimize market positioning.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required; technical or business discipline preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience selling advanced communications solutions to federal agencies.
  • Proven success in selling SATCOM, 5G, or NTN-related technologies.
  • Familiarity with satellite architecture and DoD modernization priorities.
  • Experience with federal procurement processes, including OTA and IDIQ vehicles.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into mission impact and ROI.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles and stakeholder environments.
  • Prior experience with Space Force or DISA programs.
  • Familiarity with Cellular standards and spectrum policy initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for satellite-related products and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across satellite service providers and U.S. Armed Services.
  • Lead sales efforts for aligned AST Space Mobile platform and NTN deployments.
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitors and customer needs.
  • Identify sales opportunities through data analysis.
  • Provide recommendations for promotional ideas and materials.
  • Attend trade shows and industry conventions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions for customer needs.
  • Represent the organization at industry events focused on satellite and 5G technologies.
  • Maintain pipeline and reporting in Salesforce; forecast revenue and track KPIs.
