About The Position
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Satellite Micro-Integrations Engineer to support a flourishing satellite manufactoring company based out of Midland, TX. The Satellite Micro-Integrations Engineer is responsible for supporting the mission of building the first space cellular network satellites in preparation for launch.
Requirements
- 2-8+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Aeronaucial, spacecraft, automobile or satellite electrical engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience in handling large mechanical structures: aerospace, launch operations, and/or satellite experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Support the design, tooling, fixturing, programming, testing and documentation of satellite electrical micro-integrations.
- Utilize AutoCad, ERP/MES/PLM systems for design and hardware implementation.
- Provide electrical/electronic coding with technoloiges such as MATLAB and Python.
- Utilize the Six-Sigma methology for product design, materals, parts, fabrication process, tooling and production.
- Participate or lead safety, Kaizen or other initiatives
