The position is responsible for performing various technical and non-technical tasks in a non-hospital based office, including all aspects of specimen collection, registration of patients into the hospital information system, performing electrocardiograms, and related routine office practices. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for phlebotomy certification and current Heart Saver certification. The individual must possess typing proficiency, knowledge of medical terminology, and excellent customer service skills. A minimum of one year of previous phlebotomy experience is required, along with successful completion of an EKG program or equivalent experience.
