Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, configuration, implementation, and installation of mobile and fixed communications platforms.
  • Manage inventory control documents and life cycle maintenance schedules associated with operational equipment.
  • Conduct routine and emergency maintenance and repair actions on various communications equipment.
  • Provide administration, operations support, technical support, and customer support on deployed communications systems.
  • Receive, transport, load, and configure communications security (COMSEC) keying material for secure communications equipment.
  • Provide feedback and guidance in developing solutions to unique mission requirements.
  • Develop, standardize, and deliver training seminars or lectures to customers.
  • Document standard operating procedures, routine tasks, updates to systems information.
  • Assist directly in logistics operations pertaining to acquisition, receipt, relocation, and deployment of equipment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex mission information to U.S. Government leadership.
  • Self-sufficient and capable of maintaining required operational tempo.
  • Available for travel within the continental United States for periods of time up to two weeks.

Nice-to-haves

  • CompTIA Security+ certification or DoDD 8140 IAT II Compliance.
  • Knowledge of mobile communications systems including Iridium satellite constellation and 4G LTE/5G mobile routers.
  • Understanding of IP networking fundamentals and VOIP systems architecture.
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex communications problems using specialized testing equipment.
