About The Position
The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking motivated and engaging SAT or tutors for assignments in Katy and surrounding communities. The Position: Provide in-person test prep tutoring to students in grades 9-12 Tutoring assignments are typically 60 Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 2pm and 9pm during the school year weekdays and between 10am - 4pm on weekend days Summer hours may include times between 10am-4pm. No marketing required Long term assignments available
Requirements
- Submit a resume which highlights your specific experience tutoring SAT and the length of time you have been tutoring (or teaching) in a paid capacity.
- Strong past SAT or ACT scores
- 3-6 hours per week of availability
- Earned Bachelor's Degree from a US 4 year degree granting college
- Exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrable expertise and past experience tutoring SAT or ACT
- A passion for helping others learn
- $40/hr-$50/hr. commensurate
