About The Position

As a SASE Specialist at Palo Alto Networks, you will drive the sale of the SASE portfolio, including Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, and Next Gen CASB, across a broad geographic territory of Enterprise accounts in the Western Region of the US. You will work with various teams to execute the overall SASE Go-to-Market plan, providing thought leadership and enabling scale. This role requires exceeding quotas, maintaining subject matter expertise, creating detailed written plans, and presenting to diverse audiences. It is a unique opportunity for a closer with a strategic mindset to elevate a high-functioning business in the cybersecurity sector.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field or technical sales experience selling SASE or SD-WAN for a multinational organization.
  • Above quota sales experience in a high-tempo culture.
  • Experience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances including firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, security proxies, and caches.
  • Practical experience with routing and switching products adjacent to security appliances.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbally.
  • Experience working with channel partners and understanding a channel-centric go-to-market approach.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work with high levels of autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Engage the SASE portfolio to customers, partners, and colleagues in partnership with geography’s leadership.
  • Perform high-level sales planning and accurate forecasting of the business.
  • Build a fundamental understanding of security threats, solutions, and network technologies.
  • Utilize cross-functional resources to achieve sales quotas.
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends affecting Palo Alto Networks products and services.
  • Conduct in-person sessions, webinars, and create learning materials for the appropriate audience.
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within accounts.
  • Educate customers and partners on the modern network security landscape.
  • Establish relationships with and sell through channel partners.
  • Travel 50%+ throughout the Western US and to company-wide meetings.
