About the position

As a SASE Specialist at Palo Alto Networks, you will drive the sale of the SASE portfolio, including Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, and Next Gen CASB, across a broad geographic territory of Enterprise accounts in the Western Region of the US. This role requires you to exceed your quota, maintain subject matter expertise, and regularly present to various audiences. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to execute the SASE Go-to-Market plan, providing thought leadership and enabling scale. Responsibilities

  • Engage the SASE portfolio to customers, partners, and colleagues in partnership with geography's leadership.
  • Perform high-level sales planning leading to accurate forecasting of the business.
  • Build a fundamental understanding of security threats, solutions, security tools, or network technologies.
  • Utilize cross-functional resources to achieve quota.
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends affecting Palo Alto Networks products and services.
  • Conduct in-person sessions, webinars, and create learning materials for the appropriate audience.
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within accounts.
  • Educate customers and partners on the modern network security landscape.
  • Establish relationships with and sell through channel partners.
  • Travel 50%+ throughout the Western US and to company-wide meetings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field or technical sales experience selling SASE or SD-WAN for a multinational organization.
  • Above quota sales experience in a high-tempo culture.
  • Experience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances including firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, security proxies, and caches.
  • Practical experience working with routing and switching products adjacent to our appliances.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbally.
  • Experience working with channel partners and understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market approach.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
