About The Position
Now Hiring for Full-time SAS Site Director for our School Age Programs! School Location/Community: BLACKMAN ELEMENTARY (771) Rutherford County Hey there! If you love leading teams, working with kids, and making a difference every single day, we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you. At the YMCA of Middle TN, we’re looking for an enthusiastic SAS Site Director to run our Before and After School program. In this role, you’ll: Lead the charge by supervising staff, implementing lesson plans, and making sure our program runs smoothly. Create magic by engaging kids (ages 5–12) in fun activities that support their growth—socially, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Build community by connecting with parents, school staff, and YMCA teams to keep everyone on the same page. We’ll provide the tools and support you need, including training, ongoing professional development, and a team that feels like family.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 21
- High school diploma + 4 years of experience working with kids in a group setting
- Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of group experience
- 36 credit hours in child development or related fields + 2 years of experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (within 30 days)
