About The Position

Now Hiring for Part-time SAS Site Assistant, Mornings - Rossview Elementary School for our School Age Programs! Position Type: Part-time Pay Range starts at $15 per hour (or more depending on the childcare experience listed in the application or resume) School Location-Community: ROSSVIEW (857) Montgomery County Shift: Monday through Friday, Before School Care (6:30am to 8:30am) Availability Requirements Must be available Monday through Friday Must be able to commit to ongoing employment during the 2026–2027 school year This position is not suitable for individuals seeking summer‑only employment Are you passionate about working with kids and making a difference in their lives? Requirements

Minimum Age: 18
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Enthusiastic, organized, and team-oriented individuals with a passion for youth development.
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to multitask.
Before your first shift: Orientation, DHS Background Check, Fingerprinting, Abuse Registry Check, health forms, training sessions, and references.
Within 30 days of hire: CPR/First Aid/AED (Infant/Pediatric).

Responsibilities

Actively lead and engage a group of 15–20 children in activities, inside and outside.
Set up and transform program spaces into child-friendly environments and ensure cleanliness.
Help plan and implement a quality curriculum aligned with YMCA guidelines.
Build positive relationships with YMCA staff, school personnel, and families.
Ensure site licensing and quality standards are maintained.
