Now Hiring for Part-time SAS Site Assistant, Afternoons - Ruby Major Elementary School for our School Age Programs!
Position Type: Part-time
Pay Range starts at $15 per hour (or more depending on the childcare experience listed in the application or resume)
School Location-Community: RUBY MAJOR (743) ANTIOCH DONELSON COMMUNITY
Shift: Monday through Friday, After School Care (2pm to 6pm)

Requirements

• Minimum Age: 18
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Enthusiastic, organized, and team-oriented individuals with a passion for youth development.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to multitask.
• Certifications Required: Before your first shift: Orientation, DHS Background Check, Fingerprinting, Abuse Registry Check, health forms, training sessions, and references.
• Within 30 days of hire: CPR/First Aid/AED (Infant/Pediatric).

Responsibilities

• Actively lead and engage a group of 15–20 children in activities, inside and outside.
• Set up and transform program spaces into child-friendly environments and ensure cleanliness.
• Help plan and implement a quality curriculum aligned with YMCA guidelines.
• Build positive relationships with YMCA staff, school personnel, and families.
• Ensure site licensing and quality standards are maintained.
