Now Hiring for Part-time 2026-2027 SAS Site Assistant, Mornings - Shayne Elementary School for our School Age Programs! Position Type: Part-time This is NOT a temporary or summer-only position. Pay Range starts at $15 per hour (or more depending on the childcare experience listed in the application or resume) School Location-Community: SHAYNE (726) ANTIOCH DONELSON COMMUNITY Shift: Must be available Monday through Friday, Before School Care (6:30am to 8:30am) Are you passionate about working with kids and making a difference in their lives? Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Enthusiastic, organized, and team-oriented individuals with a passion for youth development.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to multitask.
- Must be available Monday through Friday
- Must be able to commit to ongoing employment during the 2026–2027 school year
- This position is not suitable for individuals seeking summer‑only employment
- Before your first shift: Orientation, DHS Background Check, Fingerprinting, Abuse Registry Check, health forms, training sessions, and references.
- Within 30 days of hire: CPR/First Aid/AED (Infant/Pediatric).
Responsibilities
- Actively lead and engage a group of 15–20 children in activities, inside and outside.
- Set up and transform program spaces into child-friendly environments and ensure cleanliness.
- Help plan and implement a quality curriculum aligned with YMCA guidelines.
- Build positive relationships with YMCA staff, school personnel, and families.
- Ensure site licensing and quality standards are maintained.
