Requirements

  • SAS Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with SAS (Base and Advanced).
  • Data Migration & Transformation: Proven experience in migration and transformation projects; familiarity with code accelerators/tools for migration is a plus.
  • Data Science & Statistical Modeling: Solid understanding of data science concepts and statistical techniques.
  • Machine Learning: Hands-on experience in training, tuning, and optimizing machine learning models using Python.
  • Python Development: Proficiency in Python for data engineering and data science, with strong knowledge of libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • SQL: Advanced skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
  • PySpark: Strong experience in programming and optimizing PySpark for implementing data engineering solutions and models.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with any major cloud platform (AWS or GCP preferred).
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Documentation: Strong documentation skills for technical processes and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing SAS code and workflows to identify migration opportunities.
  • Design and implement migration strategies to convert SAS code to Python/PySpark.
  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Document migration processes, methodologies, and results for future reference.
