SAP writer primary responsibilities include the development of Skill Acquisition Programs (SAPs). Finalized SAPs and distribute following ISP. Train residential support staff, vocational services and recreational services. SAP writers work involves ensuring team recommendations support the need for specific, individualized training programs based on each individuals' assessments, assist IDT develop new SAPs, revise SAPs as needed based on IDT recommendations to ensure that they remain appropriate over time. This position at times utilizes a flexible schedule for staff training and individual observations. Monitor implementation and take corrective actions as needed. This position will be hired and supervised by the Behavioral Health Director.
