About The Position

The SAP TM Functional Consultant role is a remote position focused on supporting clients in the Food and Beverage manufacturing industry. The consultant will leverage their expertise in SAP Transportation Management (TM) and related systems to configure and integrate various business processes, ensuring efficient data flow and alignment with business objectives. This is a contract position with a duration of 6+ months, offering the potential for extension.

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP TM (Transportation Management) and SAP LE (Logistics Execution).
• Strong knowledge of SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN) and its integration with SAP TM.
• Proven experience in configuring and managing SAP TM master data, document types (OTR/DTR, Freight Orders), and integration with Sales Orders, Deliveries, Purchase Orders, and Service Entry Sheets.
• Solid understanding of Freight Planning, VSR Optimizer, and freight charge calculations.
• Experience with EDI/IDOC/RFC data interfacing and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SAP OTC (Order to Cash) processes and integration with SAP TM.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with Accenture and/or Lamb Weston.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain SAP TM master data elements and configure document types, including OTR/DTR and Freight Orders.
• Configure and integrate SAP TM with Sales Orders, Deliveries, Purchase Orders, and Service Entry Sheets.
• Work closely with business teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP TM with other systems and processes.
• Manage Freight Planning, VSR Optimizer, and the implementation of freight charge calculations.
• Oversee data interfaces, including EDI/IDOC/RFC integrations, to ensure accurate and efficient data flow across systems.
• Provide functional expertise and support throughout the SAP TM implementation and optimization processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of SAP TM solutions with business objectives.
