Requirements

  • BS/BA in IT, IS, Computer Science or like filed - or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • MS in IT/IS or related field is preferred.
  • Professional certification in software/hardware/systems is highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years' experience in direct support and/or application management of SAP solutions for clients across multiple SAP modules.
  • Similar experience working with SAP configuration in one or many of PP, MM, WM, FI, CO modules.
  • Good understanding of business processes in all or some of Manufacturing, Materials Management, Shipping, Accounting, and Controlling processes.
  • Service Management (ITSM).
  • Security.
  • SAP.
  • Shopfloor Technical Integration/ Interfaces.
  • EDI.
  • Database.
  • Programming/ Packaging/ Development.
  • LAN Infrastructure.
  • WAN Infrastructure.
  • Server (Windows/ Linux, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Contribution to continuous Improvement of Business Processes in Manufacturing, Inbound/Outbound Logistics and Accounting, facilitate work to review current business processes, adapt learnings, and improve future processes.
  • Business ownership of SAP support tickets and change requests. Support key users with identification and logging of tickets, ensuring the quality of the information provided supports a clear classification and assignment of the ticket.
  • Regression test support (during system patches or upgrades).
  • Provide ongoing support to key users with regards to SAP functionalities, usage of processes (SAP processes as defined in blueprint), supporting data analysis and reconciliation, reporting requirements: identifying useful reports, setting up variants, screen layouts, etc.
  • Providing on-the-job training for new users or new functionalities.
  • Supports business departments to document IT supported business processes.
  • Contribute to future projects to enhance SAP functionalities.
  • Coordinates communication between business departments and IT application groups.
