About The Position

The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is a full-time position located in York and Adams County, PA. The mission of the program is to inspire hope and healthy living by providing behavioral health and wellness services one person at a time. This role does not require working on holidays or weekends, and summers are off. Pay starts at $16.83 and increases with job experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a human service field.
• Some experience/knowledge of substance abuse is preferred.
• Clearances: FBI Finger Printing, State Police Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance.
• Mandated Reporter Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to middle and high school SAP teams.
• Attend regular meetings.
• Conduct mental health assessments and referrals to appropriate services.
• Conduct screenings and Level of Care Assessments for D&A referrals.
• Provide supportive mental health counseling, D&A education, and D&A treatment.
• Run school-based support and education groups.
