About The Position
As a Senior S4 Transportation Management (TM) Consultant at SAP, you will engage in application-specific expert consulting activities for the TM application. Your responsibilities will include the creation of discovery documentation and conducting fit-gap analysis workshops, implementing solutions based on the Activate methodology, and developing test cases, scheduling, and executing tests. You will also be responsible for key user training, providing go-live support, and offering post-go-live assistance. In addition, you will support escalated projects, perform feasibility studies and solution reviews, and assist in pre-sales activities related to licensing and consulting. Your role will require you to identify and apply Integrated Service Delivery options and architect TM solutions based on customer requirements. You will occasionally take on the responsibility of a sub-project team lead, supporting your line manager in people development tasks. Your tasks will involve detailed planning of process implementation, defining a detailed blueprint for development requirements, and implementing industry and corporate processes across all related applications, both SAP and non-SAP. You will develop and assure the quality of process models while demonstrating expert knowledge of modeling standards and tools. Familiarity with all lifecycle phases of a standard project, from blueprint to go-live support, is essential. You will also need to have actual experience with AGILE/SCRUM processes and the Activate methodology, acting as a coach or mentor to consulting colleagues.
