About The Position
Herdt Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled SAP Sales and Distribution Consultant to join our team in Kansas City, MO. This full-time position involves migrating a highly customized PeopleSoft ERP to an SAP S/4HANA ERP solution on RISE, which will provide integrated finance, supply chain, and planning functionality. The consultant will be responsible for interfacing with external manufacturing-related ERPs and ensuring a seamless transition to the new system. The role requires leading requirements validation workshops, developing functional design documents, and creating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test scripts. Additionally, the consultant will assist in training development and will be involved in deploying the end-to-end purchase order process. Integration with procurement, finance, and funds management modules is also a key aspect of this position. Candidates must possess a minimum of seven years of SAP experience, with Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in one or more functional/module areas. The ideal candidate will have advanced SAP consulting experience, particularly in designing, configuring, and customizing within SAP SD supply planning functionality. Experience in providing SD expertise to confirm and develop business requirements definitions in support of upgrades is essential. The consultant will also be responsible for leading the design of SD interfaces, conversion programs, reports, and enhancements, ensuring that all aspects of the migration are executed with precision and expertise.
