About The Position

This is a crucial fill for our client as they prepare for Phase 2 of their SAP S4 Hana upgrade moving all of the processing facilities to this new system. The role serves as the point of contact for assigned projects that include internal tickets, systems incidents, managing day-to-day issues, coordinating testing for releases, systems optimizations, and implementation of new features. The position provides support to assigned areas to ensure systems related processes are successful. Responsibilities include identifying logistics and procurement business needs, owning the systems design and configurations, and ensuring proper documentation using specifications, statements of work, project plans, etc. The role also involves coordinating cross-functionally to test processes, providing ongoing application support and training of end users, and managing data integrity.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP P2P, SAP LE, Workflow and Release Management, and/or SAP Plant Maintenance.
  • Certification in SAP S/4 Hana Sourcing and Procurement.
  • Strong understanding of transactional business systems and how they interface with the business.
  • Proficient with MS Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) and relevant business systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of specialty areas such as procurement, integration with FICO, supply chain, and manufacturing systems.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills.
  • Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for assigned projects including internal tickets and systems incidents.
  • Manage day-to-day issues and coordinate testing for releases and systems optimizations.
  • Identify logistics and procurement business needs and own the systems design and configurations.
  • Communicate and ensure proper documentation using specifications, statements of work, project plans, etc.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to test processes and ensure functionality and user acceptance.
  • Assist in testing to discover errors or issues in business processes.
  • Provide ongoing application support and training of end users.
  • Manage master data, purchasing documents, inventory management, goods receipt, goods issue, and transportation processes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and document future-state business processes.
  • Implement best practices and seek out opportunities to improve methods of doing business.
  • Perform gap analysis and improve processes through identifying new opportunities or products.
  • Support ancillary systems and collaborate cross-functionally across other modules.
  • Collaborate on reporting, evaluate data, identify opportunities and trends, and provide data-informed solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies, regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Support audit requirements as needed.
