We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) Senior Consultant with 8–10 years of experience in SAP PM and related modules. The ideal candidate will have successfully delivered at least four full lifecycle SAP implementations and demonstrated expertise in process design, solution architecture, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions that drive operational excellence.

  • Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance implementations (blueprint, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to design, optimize, and document PM processes aligned with industry best practices.
  • Provide expert knowledge in core PM functionalities, including but not limited to: Equipment and functional location structures, Maintenance planning (preventive, predictive, corrective), Notifications, work orders, and completion confirmations, Maintenance task lists, plans, and strategies, Breakdown, corrective, and refurbishment processes, Technical objects and bills of materials, Integration with Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Controlling (CO), and Asset Management.
  • Drive functional design of enhancements and work closely with technical teams (ABAP, Fiori, BTP) to implement solutions.
  • Lead workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and propose best-fit solutions.
  • Support data migration, testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT), cutover, and post-go-live support.
  • Mentor junior consultants and provide thought leadership in Plant Maintenance best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and asset management standards during solution design.
  • 8–10 years of hands-on SAP PM consulting experience, with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations in ECC and/or S/4HANA.
  • Proven expertise in business process design and solution architecture for Plant Maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA innovations in Asset Management/PM (e.g., Fiori apps, Maintenance Scheduling Board, Asset Central, Predictive Maintenance).
  • Hands-on experience in PM master data setup (equipment, functional locations, task lists, BOMs, measuring points).
  • Experience in common enhancement areas, including: User exits and BADIs for maintenance orders/notifications, Custom fields in PM objects (via Fiori / CDS views), Workflow enhancements for approvals and notifications, Reporting via SAP Analytics Cloud or embedded analytics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in global delivery environments with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • Travel up to 50% required depending on the project.
  • Exposure to SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) roadmap and integration with SAP Intelligent Asset Management.
  • Experience with Industry-specific solutions (Food and Beverage, Manufacturing, Consumer Products).
  • SAP Certification in S/4HANA Plant Maintenance or Asset Management.
  • Integration with IoT and predictive maintenance solutions in line with ‘Clean Core’ approach.
