About The Position

The SAP Treasury Consultant will lead the implementation of SAP Treasury solutions within a Greenfield project. This role requires expertise in SAP FSCM modules, particularly Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) and Cash Management (CM). The consultant will be responsible for the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of these solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and integrate seamlessly with other SAP modules. The position involves significant interaction with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide guidance on best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 12+ years of experience as an SAP Treasury Consultant.
• Proven experience in at least three full lifecycle SAP Greenfield implementations, with a significant focus on the Treasury and Cash Management areas.
• In-depth functional and configuration expertise in SAP FSCM modules, including TRM and CM.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments, accounting principles related to treasury, and risk management concepts.
• Experience with data migration in SAP implementation projects.
• Proven ability to lead and guide a team of consultants.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business stakeholders at all levels.

• Expert-level configuration skills in SAP TRM (Money Market, FX, Derivatives, Debt, Commodities).
• Expert-level configuration skills in SAP CM (Bank Communication Management, Cash Positioning, Liquidity Planning).

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Treasury Implementation: Take ownership and lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP Treasury solutions within a Greenfield implementation project.
• FSCM Module Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of SAP FSCM modules, specifically Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) including Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Debt Management, and Commodity Management, as well as Cash Management (CM) including Bank Communication Management (BCM) and Cash Positioning.
• Greenfield Implementation Focus: Apply proven methodologies and best practices for implementing SAP Treasury in a new (Greenfield) environment.
• Requirements Gathering and Solution Design: Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for Treasury processes and translate them into functional and technical specifications within SAP.
• System Configuration and Customization: Perform hands-on configuration of the SAP TRM and CM modules to meet the defined business requirements, ensuring optimal system setup and performance.
• Integration with Other Modules: Possess a strong understanding of how SAP Treasury integrates with other relevant SAP modules, such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), and Sales and Distribution (SD), and ensure seamless integration.
• Data Migration Strategy: Contribute to the data migration strategy for Treasury-related data, ensuring accurate and timely migration from legacy systems (if applicable).
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Plan and execute thorough testing of the configured Treasury solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Support defect resolution and ensure a high-quality solution delivery.
• Team Leadership and Mentoring: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior consultants on the Treasury implementation team. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the quality of their work.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders in the Treasury and Finance departments. Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues.
• Best Practices Guidance: Provide expert guidance to the customer on adopting SAP best practices for Treasury processes to optimize efficiency, control, and compliance.
• Documentation and Training: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and training materials for end-users. Conduct end-user training sessions.
• Issue Resolution and Troubleshooting: Independently analyze and resolve complex issues related to SAP Treasury configuration and functionality.
