An SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Sourcing & Procurement / Supply Chain Implementation Consultant is responsible for guiding and supporting organizations through the implementation of SAP's S/4HANA Cloud solution, specifically for the sourcing & procurement / supply chain modules.

Collaborate with business stakeholders (e.g., procurement / warehouse teams, business analysts) to understand their procurement/supply chain business processes, challenges, and goals.
Conduct and lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and interviews to gather detailed requirements for processes such as Operational Procurement, Sourcing and Contract Management, Procurement Analytics, Inventory and Warehousing.
Translate business needs into functional specifications that align with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition capabilities.
Design the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition solution based on best practices, considering both the cloud environment and the client's specific requirements.
Configure the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition solution, including supplier management, procurement, supplier invoicing, sourcing, contract management, purchase order processing, procurement analytics, inventory management, logistics and distribution.
Ensure the solution is scalable, flexible, and aligned with industry best practices.
Work within the framework of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, which may have standardized settings and limitations that require leveraging the built-in functionalities and pre-configured processes.
Use of Key User In-App Extensibility to allow the adaption of standard functionalities to user requirements without the need for any external tools.
Manage and execute the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementation process, ensuring the solution is delivered on time and within scope.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Lead data migration activities associated with the procurement / supply chain line of business to ensure seamless and accurate transfer of data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
Ensure data consistency, integrity, and accuracy throughout the migration process using SAP tools and methodologies.
Configure and test the system to ensure all functionalities are working as expected.
Execute the SAP Best Practice test scripts to validate the configuration of procurement / supply chain processes in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
Conduct various types of testing such as unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that the system is functioning as expected.
Address any issues discovered during testing, ensuring prompt resolution.
Support the creation of test plans and perform integration testing to ensure the solution is fully functional.
Develop and deliver training sessions to users on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition functionality, focusing on the tools and features they will use daily.
Ensure that knowledge transfer is completed for internal teams, enabling them to operate and maintain the system post-implementation.
Support change management activities, ensuring smooth adoption of the new system by end users.
Provide post-go-live support to resolve any system issues, bugs, or user inquiries.
Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and offer recommendations to improve supply chain processes.
Troubleshoot and assist in the resolution of supply chain-related issues that arise during day-to-day operations.
Work with clients to assess business performance after system deployment and identify areas for process improvement.
Help clients leverage advanced features of SAP S/4HANA Cloud to continuously improve and optimize their supply chain operations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP innovations and enhancements to provide clients with innovative solutions.
Work closely with internal teams, third-party vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for supply chain processes within SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
Provide consulting expertise and advice on best practices for supply chain management using SAP solutions.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including solution designs, test scripts, training materials, and status reports.
Document lessons learned and recommendations for future projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Act as an advisor on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition technical capabilities, including integration points, customization, and best practices.
Stay informed of industry trends, SAP developments, and cloud technology advancements to offer cutting-edge solutions to clients.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, specifically in sourcing and procurement or supply chain modules.
Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
Proficiency in SAP tools such as SAP Activate Methodology, SAP Signavio Process Navigator, SAP Central Business Configuration, SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Cloud Test Automation Tool, and SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
Ability to conduct workshops and interviews to gather business requirements.
Experience in solution design and configuration for SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
Strong project management skills and experience in managing implementation processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of industry best practices in supply chain management.
Experience with data migration activities and tools.
Familiarity with testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience in training and change management.
