- Prefer someone who worked direct for clients as opposed to a consulting background with a large SI - Lead the implementation of a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA transformation, moving from non-SAP legacy systems (Oracle, PeopleSoft, homegrown) to SAP on cloud. - Manage approximately 50 stakeholders and 50 integrating systems, coordinating and leading IT efforts to drive deliverables to closure. - Work within an Agile/DevOps environment, utilizing tools like ADO or Jira for reporting, dashboards, and queries. - Facilitate daily stand-ups, scrum calls, and other checkpoints, ensuring alignment between legacy teams, IT leads, and product owners. - Identify and remove roadblocks, manage risks and issues, and guide teams through the project management lifecycle. - Validate data formats and ensure data extraction meets requirements, working closely with engineers and legacy teams for test script creation. - Collaborate with SI partners like PWC, directing legacy teams to appropriate leads. This is an on-site role, four days a week (Monday-Thursday), with initial weeks requiring full on-site presence for ramp-up. The IT Project Manager Initiates, Plans, Executes, Controls and Closes multiple simultaneous IT Projects. Applies the International IT process and leads cross-functional teams to complete tasks and deliverables according to the project schedule: on time, with quality and within budget. Requires people and resource management skills to work alongside and also manage cross-functional teams to complete projects. Successful candidates will demonstrate a history of success leading teams in a matrixed organization structure as well as success in leading without direct authority. The IT Project Manager has ultimate responsibility for the success of the project achieving its stated financial and performance targets. The IT Project Manager manages all project processes including interdepartmental meetings, technical/functional resource identification and allocation, feasibility and impact assessments, development of detailed project plans/schedules/budgets, project timeline and progress tracking, budgetary month over month forecast/actuals updates, change control process, management of required SDLC documentation to define project requirements, training, interdepartmental communications for implementation readiness and any other project activities needed to ensure on-time delivery within budget constraints. Selects, develops and evaluates team resources to ensure efficient operation of the project and its goals. Coordinates work performed by both internal staff and external partners. Projects vary in number, size and complexity.
