About The Position

The SAP Pre Sales role focuses on winning large and complex deals in the Projects, AS, and AMS areas. The position involves building go-to-market (GTM) offerings, strategies, and solutions while developing customer relationships and driving sales opportunities from initiation to closure. The role requires delivering optimal customer solutions and providing technical and business consultative leadership during the pre-sales and post-sales cycles for large enterprise ERP implementations. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert on S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and related SAP product suites, serving as a critical client contact and strategic advisor throughout the sales cycle of SAP S/4HANA solution implementations. Additionally, the role involves providing process expertise in Supply Chain and Manufacturing, collaborating with sales teams, engaging with customers in executive meetings, and creating business requirements documents and solution designs.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in SAP presales, solution architecture, and consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and other SAP modules.
  • Deep understanding of SAP's cloud product suite, particularly S/4HANA Cloud and BTP.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to translate technical details into business language and value-driven solutions.
  • Experience in industries like manufacturing or Life Sciences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customer relationships and drive sales opportunities from initiation to closure.
  • Deliver best-fit customer solutions with optimal estimations.
  • Provide technical and business consultative leadership during the pre-sales and post-sales cycle.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and related SAP product suites.
  • Provide process expertise and solutions in Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with sales and presales teams to plan account strategies.
  • Engage with customers in executive meetings, solution workshops, and design sessions.
  • Identify and describe solution options, evaluate pros/cons, and make recommendations.
  • Create business requirements documents, process maps, and high-level solution design diagrams.
  • Ensure formal handoff of design and cost estimation to the Delivery Team.
  • Shape conversations with customers based on industry best practices.
  • Stay updated on SAP product roadmaps and trends.
  • Assist in the development of proposals to RFIs/RFPs.
  • Build strong business cases for cloud migration and transformation.
  • Deliver customized demos, workshops, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with SAP's technical and implementation teams.
  • Monitor market and competitive trends in the SAP cloud landscape.
  • Train other members of the pre-sales team on technical aspects.
